why do we use computer networks

Computer networks, two or more computers linked together for the purpose of sharing data electronically. In addition to physical connectivity to computers and communication devices, network systems play an important role in creating a collaborative building that allows different types of software to transmit information in an almost perfect form. Two well-known building blocks are the Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) ISO and IBM's Network Architecture (SNA).
