The
main purpose of ACE certification is to serve as a benchmark for your ability
to configure Palo Alto Networks firewalls using the PAN-OS. To pass the ACE
exam, you need institutional expertise and expertise in the PAN-OS
configuration. Passing the ACE test shows that you have the basic knowledge to
configure Palo Alto Networks firewalls using PAN-OS. The test will also serve
as an audit tool to prepare for PCNSE7 certification. (Some participants may
use the ACE certification to test their knowledge and progress through their
partner program.)
The
Certified Installation Engineer (ACE) test tests your knowledge of the main
features and functions of next-generation Palo Alto Networks firewalls. The ACE
exam is web-based and consists of 50 multiple-choice questions. There is no
time in the test, and you can take it back as often as needed to earn a pass
score.
Reminders
ACE
credit has no consolidation requirements. Once you earn a version of the ACE
credit, it will stick with you for life. ACE credit varies according to each
major version of the software running the Palo Alto Networks platform.
